Alavi Foundation supports
Weekend Persian Schools throughout the United
States that link Iranian-Americans with Persian
culture. The Foundation believes these schools
are vital to preserving and celebrating Persian
heritage within the Iranian-American community.
Grant Applicants must:
• Be a not-for-profit
corporation organized and in good standing under
the laws of the state of incorporation
• Provide a copy of permanent tax-exempt
status letter from the IRS
• Make financial records available upon
request
• Manage and operate the school in accordance
with all applicable laws and regulations
• Have a minimum enrollment of 15 students
